My name is Emily and I live in Austin, Texas. I weave using a technique called tablet weaving to create a variety of unique guitar straps, hat bands, earrings, and other accessories.

As an artist and art teacher, I have dabbled in many different forms of art, but have always had a desire to create artistic textiles. Discovering the ancient craft of tablet weaving was exactly what inspired my vision for Twisted Motif.
